Terms of Service

Effective: March 27, 2026  |  Last updated: August 4, 2026

Welcome to AIdedEQ. These terms govern your use of aidedeq.org and the tools, resources, and services we provide. By using our site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site: no hard feelings.

Who We Are

AIdedEQ is a for-profit technology company. It works in partnership with The Practice Center, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The organizations share a founder and support aligned work, but they are distinct legal entities.

What We Provide

Through aidedeq.org you can:

  • Learn about our tools and programs
  • Access or link to tools like anchorED, WellBEing Snapshot, LoreDrop, and others
  • Sign up for waitlists, programs, or founder conversations
  • Contact us for partnership, press, or general inquiries
  • Purchase tools, subscriptions, services, or programs
  • Support our work through donations

Using Our Site

We ask that you use our site respectfully and lawfully. Specifically:

  • Be honest: Provide accurate information when submitting forms or signing up for programs.
  • Don't misuse our tools: Our tools are designed to support equity-centered practice. Don't use them to harm, mislead, or discriminate against anyone.
  • Don't scrape or overload: Don't use automated systems to scrape content or overload our servers.
  • Respect intellectual property: Our content, designs, curriculum, and tools are our work. You're welcome to share links, but please don't copy or redistribute our materials without permission.

Our Tools

Many of the tools we build are free to use. Some tools are hosted on separate platforms (Lovable, Railway, Netlify, etc.) and may have additional terms specific to those platforms. When a tool has its own terms, we'll make that clear.

Our tools use AI and are designed to support professional judgment, not replace it. If you're a youth worker, facilitator, or practitioner using our tools, you remain responsible for your professional decisions and actions.

Programs and Events

Our programs may have additional participation agreements, codes of conduct, or registration requirements. These will be communicated during the enrollment process.

Payments, Subscriptions, and Cancellations

Paid tools, services, subscriptions, support payments, programs, and donations offered through this site are processed by Stripe. The price, currency, billing frequency, and description shown on the offer page and at checkout are part of these terms. Stripe collects payment information directly under its own terms and privacy policy.

A recurring subscription continues at the frequency shown at checkout until it is canceled. You may request cancellation of future renewals by emailing [email protected]. Canceling a subscription does not automatically refund a charge already processed. Any cancellation or refund terms displayed for a particular offer or at checkout also apply. If no offer-specific refund term is displayed, contact us at [email protected]; we review refund requests based on the circumstances and any rights provided by applicable law.

A payment labeled “support” or “donation” does not purchase ownership of a tool unless the checkout page expressly says otherwise. Access, delivery, and participation details for purchases and programs are the details stated on the applicable offer page or provided during fulfillment.

Donations

Donations made through this site are processed by Stripe. Other donation methods may be arranged directly with The Practice Center. Payment providers have their own terms and privacy policies. Donations support the mission of The Practice Center and are tax-deductible only to the extent permitted by law. Stripe may provide a payment confirmation; contact us if you need an additional acknowledgment.

Intellectual Property

Content on aidedeq.org, including text, designs, logos, tool interfaces, curriculum content, and code, is owned by AIdedEQ, The Practice Center, or another identified rights holder, as applicable. Open-source projects are licensed under the licenses identified in their repositories.

Third-Party Links

Our site links to external websites and tools. We link in good faith, but we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices. When you follow a link off our site, the destination's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Disclaimer

Our site and tools are provided "as is." We work hard to keep everything accurate, functional, and useful, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that every tool will meet every need. We're a small nonprofit building in public, so things may change, break, or evolve. We'll always be transparent about it.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AIdedEQ and The Practice Center, as applicable, are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or tools. The applicable provider's total liability for any claim related to the site or tools is limited to the amount you paid that provider, which is zero for most free tools.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as we grow. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States.
